Teaching on Vajrapani Bhutadhamara Practice and Retreat

In Sakya tradition, practitioners typically begin their spiritual journey with their first retreat practice on the Vajrapani Bhutadamara-“the One who subdues Demons”, the removal of obstacles.

In this course, Lama Ngawang will teach students how to do the Vajrapani Buhtadhamara practice and how to conduct the retreat. Instructions will be provided on the setting up of shrine, mudras to be performed, performance of sadhana and torma offering.

Pre-requisite: Must have received the Vajrapani Buhtadhamara empowerment in the Sakya tradition. Must have own practice text (sadhana and torma offering) to attend as the text will not be displayed on screen. We have limited copies of text available for purchase on our website.)

Teaching on White Tara Practice and Retreat

based on “The Distilled Essence for Practicing the Flowing River of the Moon, A Manual of Instructions for the Longevity Sādhana of White Tārā, the Wish-Fulfilling Wheel”

In this course, Lama Ngawang will teach students how to do the White Tara practice (based on the sadhana known as The Distilled Essence for Practicing the Flowing River of the Moon, A Manual of Instructions for the Longevity Sādhana of White Tārā, the Wish-Fulfilling Wheel). Instructions include shrine set up, sadhana explanation, mudras to be performed, torma offering and explanation on how to do the retreat.

Pre-requisite: Must have received the White Tara empowerment in the Sakya tradition. Must have own practice text (sadhana and torma offering) to attend as the text will not be displayed on screen. We are preparing a reprint of the sadhana with minor updates which will be available for purchase on our website in June 2021.)
