His Holiness Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche will preside over a Life Release Ceremony on 16 June 2026. This special event is organized by STTL in collaboration with the Luminous Wisdom Society.

Life release is a traditional Buddhist practice of compassion and merit accumulation through saving the lives of sentient beings. Participants may contribute towards the purchase and release of sea creatures for the ceremony.

This is a meaningful opportunity to accumulate vast merit and dedicate prayers for health, longevity, removal of obstacles, and the fulfilment of aspirations. Those experiencing illness, difficulties, or challenges are especially encouraged to participate, as the merits generated through life release may be dedicated towards their wellbeing and wishes.

放生乃佛教中培養慈悲、積聚福德的重要修持。大眾可隨喜參與放生善款，所募款項將用於購買海洋眾生進行放生。
